Melissa Clay Reissmann

 

Melissa Clay Reissmann has dedicated over two decades to inspiring creativity as a high school
art teacher and head of the art department. Known for innovative teaching methods, she has
significantly impacted the arts community.

As a judge for the WRAP show at the Center for Visual Arts, Melissa has recognized and
celebrated emerging artists. She was also featured in the Center for Visual Arts:Painting for a
Purpose, showcasing her talent and dedication.

Her expertise has led her to lecture at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum and present at
multiple Wisconsin Art Education Association (WAEA) conferences. Most recently, Melissa has authored and illustrated the children’s book Why Can’t We Be Friends? demonstrating her creative vision and versatility. Melissa’s dedication inspires students and colleagues, making her a respected figure in the arts community.
