RUG HOOKING: “Garden Butterfly”
RUG HOOKING: “Garden Butterfly” with Linda Raether
Participants will hand hook a butterfly design to make a small garden stake or plant poke. A wide variety of colors and textures of wool fibers will be available for adding your own color and design details to the basic butterfly shape. The single stitch used in hand hooking rugs will be taught, as well as a simple finishing technique.

WATERCOLOR: “Floral Wreaths” with Diane Shabino
Spring, fall, and/or winter/holiday floral wreaths in watercolor will be demonstrated for participants to create 2-3 small works on 100% cotton watercolor cold-pressed paper. Techniques including wet in wet, wet on dry, masking, and layering will be used and the small watercolors will be sealed and attached to blank note cards (with envelopes).

MIXED-MEDIA: “The Art of Creativity – Mixed Media Journaling” with Nancy Laliberte
Allow your creativity to flourish as you (re)discover the joy of self-expression in this fun, no-pressure playground where crayons are kings, and pens play with paintbrushes. Unlike other forms of artwork, mixed media journaling is all about the doing and the process. By the end of the class, students will have a solid understanding of several mixed media techniques, and a passion to keep exploring in their sketchbook. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to be creative and have fun. The class includes a sketchbook for you to keep.

ACRYLIC: “Monoprinting” with Krista Botsford
In this class we will be making one-of-a-kind prints on a plastic template with acrylic paint and options for stencils and inclusions. Unique prints or a series of related images will be ready to take home!
